How are AniMates brought to life?

AniMates are brought to life using computer animation and a live actor. While the character appears onscreen, a performer is backstage with a script (and improvisational skills) giving the character their voice.

Voice recognition provides lip-sync and specialized controls allow the AniMate to take on different expressions and motions as well as different attire and effects.

What is the process of creating an AniMate

Step 1: Decide on the AniMate that can work for you. If you don't have an existing character you'd like to use (for instance a mascot), we can design one for you.

Step 2: Create a 3D computer model.

Step 3: Program the character for real-time interaction.

We don't want to create our own AniMate. Are there stock characters?

Yes. We have a large variety of stock characters that can be customized for your needs.

Who performs the voice and actions of the AniMate?

We have a pool of trained and talented performers and technicians that have extensive AniMate experience.

What about scriptwriting?

We have writers on staff who will work with you to develop your AniMate's personality and craft your script to fulfill your communication objectives. We'll work with each presenter to determine where to best integrate the AniMate to keep the audience engage and deliver your message.

How much physical space is needed backstage?

We can easily fit into a 10' x 10' area.

Can AniMates be pre-recorded?

Absolutely. AniMates are a very effective way to produce quality computer animation quickly and efficiently.
