Desired Outcome
Bravo had previously employed Interactive Personalities to create "Toon Disney" - a theme that incorporated an
interactive AniMate. They were thrilled with the success of the show. Bravo needed to create the same excitement
and fun for their Texas Cable Show. They needed to drive attendees into their booth while leaving them with knowledge
of their program offerings.
Actions and Tactics
Bravo approached Interactive Personalities with the request to "make something spectacular"! While on a limited
budget, Bravo needed to create a buzz at the Texas Cable Show with a display that the audience would not soon forget.
Interactive Personalities created a solution, an unforgettable experience that would promote the entertaining and
intriguing programming of Bravo. The solution was inexpensive and embraced the interactive excitement Bravo was
looking for.
What better way to create intrigue than to use the always interesting Bravo's "Inside the Actors Studio with James
Lipton". How could the audience experience sitting down with James Lipton without him being present? A High-resolution
photograph of James Lipton on the set of the actual "Inside the Actors Studio" stage served as an electronic base for
this exciting technology. A Director of Photography established the same lighting effects used on the actual show. Trade
show attendees sat in a chair on a blank stage, watching a strategically placed monitor with the image of James Lipton. A
digital camera snapped a photograph that was later given to the attendee. Using a one-step process for output, the images
of the attendee and the sublime James Lipton were merged.
Outcomes Fulfilled
Bravo's booth attendees were excited to spread the word about Bravo's program offerings. Bravo was extremely pleased
with the traffic numbers through their booth as well as the impact the presentation left in the minds of the audience.
